The Introductory Certificate: APM Project Fundamentals Qualification - (SCQF Level 6) offers a fundamental awareness of project management terminology. It is ideal for those looking to gain an understanding of basic project management principles, or those interested in embarking on a successful and challenging project management career. This course was previously known as the APM Introductory Certificate.
Delegates will acquire the level of understanding needed to pass the examination leading to the IC: APM Project Fundamentals Qualification.
Who should attend?
No prior knowledge or experience is required for this qualification which will offer the individual the knowledge to make a positive contribution to any project. The course is designed for anyone who wishes to acquire the APM Introductory Certificate – the first level of award within the APM’s Qualification Scheme. It is ideal for those wanting to understand the basic principles of project management or looking to find out more about the profession.
By the end of the course, delegates will be familiar with a range of project management knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge, including:

Examination & Certification
The APM Introductory Certificate examination is a 60-minute multiple-choice paper (closed book) and consists of 60 questions.
The pass mark is 60%.
