Matthew Cabot expands with new Business Support Role
Portishead-based project and programme management company Matthew Cabot has appointed Rowena Tanner to the role of Business Support lead.
Rowena, 25 is the daughter of Chris Tanner, the founder and Managing Director of Matthew Cabot and she takes on the newly created role as a result of a significant increase in the uptake of its online project management training courses and also winning new programme management contracts.
Rowena previously worked in the legal industry after graduating from Sussex University with an LL.B law degree with honours in 2012, but has always been keen to join the business and help with its continued success.
Rowena said: “I have been keen to join the business since the beginning and now with the growing popularity of our online project management courses and as I’m currently training for my PRINCE2® qualification, it’s the perfect time to join.
“It’s a really exciting time for the business and I hope that my business skills and experience will really add value to the courses and programmes that we run in Bristol and throughout the UK.”
Since it was founded in 2011 Matthew Cabot has gained a number of high profile clients to whom it offers ongoing project management expertise and support including the International Atomic Energy Agency, Kaefer C&D, one of the world’s largest industrial services groups and The Blue Cross, a leading UK animal charity.
Managing Director Chris Tanner said: “I’m thrilled that Rowena is joining Matthew Cabot, not only because she joins at an exciting time and will further help the business to grow, but as she’s my daughter, we have immediately become a family business which is just wonderful.”
